For those who don't know, Emilie Autumn is a wonderful musician who more people really should know. While recently updating the layout of my journal, I decided to use EA in the graphics and I decided to make a mood theme to go along with it. And what good is a mood theme if you don't share? So here I am, sharing with anyone who's interested. All three sets are the same except for the borders (black, white, and none). Take whichever one you want, just remember to follow the rules! I've been working on this a while, and it's finally finished. Thanks to caps from dj43 over at dj_capslock, I was able to make the Kitty "Shadowcat" Pryde mood theme from X-Men: The Last Stand. I tried to make 132 different moods, but was unable to do it, though I came close. There are a couple repeats (hey, there weren't many happy/ditzy/etc. moments in the movie!), and some images are similar looking, but different. All in all, I think it went pretty well.

Well...There are so many things I should be working on right now...I have stories to write, fic journals to get up and running, and Shock Treatment icons to finish. But I took a break from it all to make 25 Rocky Horror Picture Show icons all from the exact same screencap!!!!

I saw this cap posted on rhps_daily and it just screamed for icons. So I made some. What turned into an idea to make only three or four turned into 25. Yes, I'm insane, I thought that was already established!

Natalie Portman is an absolutely stunning person. She takes such gorgeous pictures, I just had to make some. I have more Nat pictures saved on my hard drive, so these seven are only the beginning, I'm sure.

No graphics with this post, I just wanted to let you all know, if you didn't know already, that I will be on vacation from this Friday until the 9th of July (depending on the time, I may not get on the computer until the following day). It is family reunion year here which means we'll all be camping out at my Great-Aunt and -Uncle's farm, which is on Lake Wisconsin. There will be many relatives there and, since we're all coming only to see one person (Great-Uncle Spencer...one of the most interesting guys in the world...even if we do have different beliefs on a lot of things...well, at least all things political and his beliefs that I am smarter than I actually am, but that's beside the point).

Anyway, the campsite is only about 5-10 minutes away from my house so I will be back occasionally to shower, wash clothes, and download mail and the like. The point I'm saying all this is so my absence will be explained and to assure you all that I will make more graphics when I get back, if not before then. I hope to get a few things out before I go, but there are many things that need doing before Friday.

I was in the mood to create some icons over the past couple days (in the little bit of free time I've had) and this is the first batch, finished just a little while ago. Now I will take a break for the rest of the day. Who knows, I may be back with more tomorrow. I don't think there's anything on my schedule then...which is good!

These aren't anything special and are pretty basic. It's just me, mostly, playing around with color (my current favorite thing to do, if you haven't been able to figure it out). Color effects have just been fascinating me lately and most of my recent work tends to relay that. Still, I like how these turned out and I hope you all do, too.

I couldn't resist making wallpapers of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis. Not only are they two of my favorite people, they're also the most perfect couple one could ever hope to see. A lot of people seem to hate Vanessa because she's with Johnny...could there be a stupider reason to hate someone? As if Johnny would like someone who hated the mother of his children!
